Sorry the service was slow and they weren't that busy. But the food was really great..

Whoa! How did our party of 4 run $180 bill in 30 mins? Covers hot and acceptable. Service appropriate.

Ontario truly exceeded expectations as our server today. The price of the food does not do true justice for the quality of the meal and service that you receive at the fine establishment. Ontario brought consistent energy to the table and made the time fly fast. There has been no other server who has treated us so such as Ontario.

Service was super slow. We received 1 of our apps an hour after we ordered and waited even longer for the other two. There were six people in the group. Two entrees came out stone cold. One entree was the wrong item. The wrong items were taken off the check. The staff was very apologetic but honestly I won't go back. Even the corrected food items were just okay.

Servers took to long to take orders. Took long time just to get the check. Good was great.

My Sister-in-law and my Brother came to see me, they were here for a Church conference. I was surprised, my niece was also with them. They wanted seafood So I looked up a near by restaurant, there was two and my sister-in-law chose Pappas Seafood House. Off we went, it was not far and parking was quick but it was packed, wall to wall the hostess said “30 minutes”, we waited our table was ready in 15 minutes. I was being treated, so they did ask my opinion on the appetizer and we ordered the spinach and cheese dip w/ garlic loaf toast. It was good, my brother didn’t like it, we girls did. Everyone ordered a seafood platter of some sort and they ordered gumbo but didn’t like it. The platters were filling and very good. My niece also got some fruit, pineapple 🍍 🍒 and 🍨 ice cream for dessert my sister-in-law had a special drink 🍹 I had ☕️ tea, soda 🥤 for the rest, and water 💧 but we had a really great time. It took the food a while to come but it was worth it.

Absolutely horrible. The ribeye which was usually very good was almost inedible. Wife's seafood plate had way to much sauce..which was not any good. Could be there is nothing but blacks working there. And we know how lazy they are.

Excellent. Food was on point. Had several appetizers including spinach dip, peeled shrimp, and calamari. All good. Ordered the fried shrimp, tasted great. Staff was courteous and friendly. Would recommend!

I usually expect Pappas restaurants to be good. For a large chain, they really do know how to keep the quality up. This one was no exception.It was our first time trying the seafood house, and it lived up to our expectations. The quality of the seafood was top notch. The portions were over the top. My wife and I ordered two seafood platters, and it would've easily fed 3-4 people. Prices were what you'd expect at a Pappas restaurant, high but reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. I'd recommend this one, if you love a good plate of fresh seafood.

Met some colleagues here for dinner. Had the seafood broiler, with crab, scallops, shrimp and tilapia. It was very good. The waiter was new but he too was excellent

I love seafood, and this is one of the places I like to eat it. The food is good, the time we waited for our food to arrive took a but long but I think it's typical on a busy Sunday, overall it was good and our server was polite and always made sure our drinks were full and always apologizing for the delay of our food. Stop by and enjoy your time and the great food!

Great place to take your date especially on Valentine's Day. We had a great dinner great service great atmosphere. We loved it. No complaints at all.

Good food, excellent service but kind of slow. Being fair it was for a large party and they did their best to accommodate all of us.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. They take good care of first responders my co-workers and myself have decided to meet monthly here because the employees are awesome, the food is delicious and they show appreciation for first responders. As first responders we greatly appreciate the support.

It was amazing!!!! I am not a big fan of seafood but this restaurant is the exception and the creme brulee was just amazing

The food was brought out nice and hot. I ordered the sampler. The french fries were even seasoned good. The waiter, Courtney, was also very good. The service and food were great.

Awesome food. We can only go once in a while so it has to be worth it. It always has been. Service, food, atmosphere all great. The prices are high, which is expected. Every dish I have ever gotten has been fantastic.

Been a while since I've been to any Pappas resteraunt. Service was fast for a busy lunch crowd. Portions were quite large. I just ordered a side of grits and bottle of crystal hot sauce. I was impressed with how good they were, especially compared to Cracker Barrell. Might have to try the chain again.

Great food. Food was cooked perfect. Gumbo had big shrimp and lots of crab in itWonderful taste. Service was awesome. Very attentive.

Great nautical atmosphere. Wide variety on the menu. Entrees start at about $25. Page gave us excellent service. Very comfortable and relaxing place to dine.

We went to Papas on i-45. It was fantastic. My daughter ordered seafood gumbo. There was so much seafood in it. I have never had gumbo at a restaurant with so much seafood in it. I had the catfish poboy it was huge n delicious. My son n law had a shrimp gumbo it was full of shrimp. The waitress was excellent. We had a very relaxed enjoyable sat dinner.Thanks Papas n staff.

Disgusting; cheapest chicken dish is 20.00 for 20$ I got dry flavorless chicken. I do not eat more than one bite ; do they ask me if everything is okay no. After my entire family has finished eating the waiter checks on us for the first time out of the entire meal. And asks if I want a to go container. I am currently on my way to Raising Canes. Want $$$$ for a below Friday’s experience.

Food was A-1, waitress was also awesome and kept us in good shape. Not as expensive as I thought it would be based on the decur. My lady and I will be back for sure.

Great atmosphere and food! Servers, bartenders and manager were awesome. Our waiter Robert took great care of us! The portions of food were huge...I guess the saying "Everything is bigger in Texas" is 100% accurate. We were extremely pleased and would certainly return if we are ever in the area again.

The food here was so wonderful! The waitress was new, but she was very knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive to our table. There was a mix up in our order, but the management and wait staff took care of it promptly and their service should be commended! I would highly recommend this restaurant and the next time I am in the Houston area, I will 100% be back.

My husband and I went to this location of Pappas to have an early dinner. Decided to sit in the bar. We have been here in the past and had good service. We found a booth. A waitress saw us and stated the table was not cleaned and ready. We saw an employee leaving after cleaning when we walked up. There was only a glass left on the table. I told her we would just wait becide the table if they needed to wipe it down one more time so as not loose the table to another customer. She never sent anyone back to the table to finish. We were not acknowledged by any other waiter or employee and she seemed to pass by our table and purposely ignore us so finally we left and went to Jimmie G's where we had wonderful service and delicious food. Very happy with our decision.

Truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had!!! Our waiter OT was phenomenal!!! He was prompt, helpful, quick, professional, and entertaining!!! He truly was the type of waiter that all others should aspire to be!!! The food was served promptly, and was hot and delicious. I had the mahi Alexander, and my wife had the fried shrimp. It was all cooked to perfection, and was delicious. I noticed that the table next to me didn't care for one of their dishes. OT handled it professionally and quickly, and judging from the smiles on the diner's faces, it was handled to their satisfaction. The food was great, but it was OT's service and sparkling personality that made this a dinner that will be remembered for years to come!!!

The atmosphere was great. The food was as ordered and tasted great. Service was fast and constant. Well worth the trip. The only thing I didn't like was the temperature inside the restart was cold inside.

The waiter provided good service. The hostess made sure we were comfortable when she seated us. The catfish was good, less French fries. Great warm and soft bread.

The customer service was very friendly and professional. I would absolutely eat here again. They have free WiFi for customers, you have to type in an email address. Also, the food was delicious, from the presentation to the temperature, texture, and taste, the appetizers, main course, sides, desert, and drinks were all fresh and filling!

Pappas has the best sauteed crabfingers. The garlic butter sauce that the fingers are served ; is delightful. The house salad is fantastic. The house made honey mustard salad dressing is excellent. The warm bread with a side of garlic butter for dipping...

Service horrible. MakaylaTook our order and got it wrong .which is ok ,she then went to go fix it and just left and never came back , we just paid our bills and left p.s she just hung around the drink station and goofing off.after paying 100 bill u expect better service

The food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere was nice, but we had these two guys sitting behind us who were loud and on their cellphone the whole time we were there. Other than that my experience was satisfying.

The food is always delicious but I prefer the fondue the way they used to make it. It was still good though.

Portions are small and prices are huge! It's not truly worth the money, to me. I had the salmon and it could've used more seasoning. Ambiance was so-so for the middle of the day, Terry was excellent for the afternoon that brought me there. We could actually hear each other.

I have eaten in of Houston restaurants but this one is phenomenal. The seafood chowed was very good but the bacon wrapped shrimp was simply amazing. Prices were also very reasonable. I will be back.
